How To Grow Your Blog And Get More Readers - Blogging Part 9

What can you do to increase your blog? As your blog grows, it helps you make more money.
Millions of page views and visitors do not need a big blog to earn money. Unless you are adding value to your visitors, you can earn good income with a small, specific site.
My adoption website is a very small place. It does not get much traffic, but it still removes a good profit every month.

Yes, the more visitors you can, the more you can do. You definitely want to do more to drive more traffic to your site and create your email list. Following are some of the top tips to increase your blog traffic. When you continue your blogging journey, you can find each of these tips.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Search engine optimization is the practice of writing your blog post so that they can rank higher in search engines. It is quite enough to enter science and pathway.

There are all types of books, courses and websites dedicated to search engine optimization. You can just spend hours learning the basics.

Install Yoest SEO WordPress Plugin

Yoest SEO plugin is a free WordPress add-on that helps you write blog posts that are search engine optimized. It's installed on more than 1 million blogs - because it's good.

This is an easy way to start learning SEO. The plugin shows the correct in WordPress below your post editor. What you have to decide for better suggestions, this will give you suggestions. Apart from this, it gives you suggestions for improving the readability of your posts.

Make a note that as soon as you move in your writing - maybe a few months from now - you go back to this topic again.

Guest post

Guest posting is where you write a blog article for someone else's website. There are two very important reasons for guest posting:

1. You can drive a ton of traffic on your website

The guest posted an article on Penny Hurder and found 155 email subscribers and 2,500 new pageviews in 48 hours.
I was also posted on guest guitar and got an email client.
You never know what results you will get. But sometimes you have to try to find out.

2. To get links to your website

One of the reasons why you rank higher in Google and other search engines is that how high quality websites link to your website. This is part of secret sauce, and Google does not tell us how important it is, but it is important.
For example, Forbes is a very prestigious website. The article published on is more likely to rank higher than the published articles on (or whatever). Due to Forbes' reputation, Forbes puts articles on high positions in Google search results (usually).

If I can be quoted in Forbes or become a contributing writer on and includes a link to in the quote / article, then Google will look at that link. My website post gets high position in Google because it is related to

The word fancy for this strategy is called backlinking. The more links you have from other reputable websites on your website, the more you will appear in search results.
The easiest way to get those backlinks is to guest post.

Make it easy to share your content

All your blog posts should have buttons that your readers can share with their posts on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc.)
And it's easy to be!

Here are two tools I've used and recommended.

Another feature of the free Sumomi Tool mentioned in the Email List Building Lesson is that it includes free sharing tools. It's free!

social wars

The social warfare sharing plugin that I currently use on my website. I used Sumomi at one time and then I switched to the social warfare. For my life, I do not remember why I do not remember why. I think Social Warfare had an email button and at that time there was no Sumomi.
You have to decide what features you want and then choose the software that meets your goals.

Share other Blogger content

If I re-tweet or republish the material from Money Magazine then I have zero profits because Money Magazine is a big company who does not care who I am. If the article was good then it benefits my followers.
If I repost or republish the content from a popular blogger - (for example Stephanie O'Connell) - My readers and followers benefit because I am sharing valuable content with other people.

Note: I will be joining this section to assist other bloggers, but I will be honest in your help. If you only try to get something from someone else, then you will not make a connection with that person. I liked Stephanie's blog and the content because I had seen it before. New York City has a wonderful story to break, and it has built this wonderful personal finance business in a few years. I help Stephanie because I like Stephanie because I do not want to or expect to get anything from the relationship.

It is not possible for you to cover every aspect of your subject. At some point, you have to share the content of other people. You are going to get sick or go on vacation and will not be able to write. Where else would you change the content of others?

Link your posts together

If you write ten different blog posts about different ways to create sandwiches, try linking between your posts when it's relevant.

for example:

• You have a blog post on making sours bread
• Then you write another blog post on making a wonderful grilled cheese sandwich

If your grilled cheese sandwich uses sourdough bread, then link it to your sourdough bread recipe.

There are two important reasons to add your posts together:

1. It keeps the reader on your site and makes it more likely that they will read more of your posts. The more they read, the more page views you get, the more your blog traffic increases.

2. Search engines look at the posts that link to each other that are better than a post which does not have internal linking. Your post will rank highly in search engines. Ten posts about bread consonants that do not connect with each other are not as good in the eyes of search engines as ten terms about bread recipes that connect with each other. Do not Be Crazy - When Only Links to Other Articles

Pinterest is one of the top traffic sources for many blogs. When I sat through a Pinterest session in a recent conference, I was blown away.
Bob Over in SeedTime Personal Finance showed us how he was using Pinterest to generate more than 1,000,000 page views on his website in a year. Vishal!

I'm not an expert on Pinterest, nor do I want to be. I bought my wife Katie for a course on Pinterest, and she set everything on my blog. Now I get 1,500 visits from Pinterest on my blog in a month.

While Bob is less than 80,000 / month, it still has 1,500 people in a month which I can never reach I could do a lot better, but Pinterest is not a high priority for me.

The Pinterest course I have bought for Melissa on blog clarity is that. Once you become a Pinterest expert, it will take a lot of time for you to find a bunch of free information, which is very cheap.

Help other bloggers

Do you look forward to helping me because I am giving you all this wonderful information for free?
You got this right - you are more likely to help me. That help can come in this form:

• Tell people that you know about my website
• Promote me on my social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
• Share my content with others
• Linking to your blog from your blog
• giving me a testimonial
• Referring to a person who you can meet in the future, even if it is one year from now

A rising tide lifts all the boats.

Other bloggers - even if they blog about the same topic - there are no competition.
You will not believe how big the pie is, and there is so much for everyone.

You can try to go it alone and can not help anyone. The result will be that it will take you 2-3 times more time to increase your blog. But if you are sincerely ready to help others, they will help you in return.

Warning: When I say honest, I mean. People can smell a mile away a mile away. When I first started blogging, I was guilty of it. If you start to be friends with other bloggers before, sometimes in the future they will help you in launching your eBook, promote your blog, your course, introduce you to anyone - whatever - because you Have friends

A few months after I started blogging, I went to the Podcasting Conference and ran to Philip Taylor of (PT). PT is a great boy. They presented me with a group of people in personal finance, which had been blogging and podcasting over the years. He and I have become friends - I have taken him and his family for dinner too.

If PT has ever asked me for help, then you can bet I would say yes. Because the friends do this for each other.
Always give you more than you get.

Action items
A big bunch of ideas, right? Let's keep it simple.
1. Add social sharing buttons to your website
Hopefully, you've already added SumoMe on your website to start collecting email addresses. If you have not - go ahead and install it.

Add free SumoMe share tools so that your visitors can share your content with your friends, family and others. The more people share your site and content, the more viral traffic goes back to your site.

2. Identify a blog with which you want to create a relationship
Follow them on social (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat) and post them again a piece of their content 1-2 times per week.
If you want to mess up, leave an email to say hello to them and tell them why you like them. Honesty wins.

3. Install Yoest SEO Plugin in WordPress
Once you have installed this free plugin, it will help guide you in the writing of search engine friendly blog posts.
