How To Send Text Messages Without Showing Number - Realitytechs

This is Realitytechs teaches you how to send a text message without including your phone number. To do so, you can download and use a couple of different apps on your iPhone or Android. If you have an email address that doesn't use your real name or link to any of your social media information, you can send a text from your email address instead.

Steps

Method One of Three:
Using the TextNow App

Download the TextNow app. Open theApp Store (iPhone) or the Google Play Store (Android), then do the following:iPhone - Tap Search, tap the search bar, type in textnow, tap Search, tapGET to the right of "TextNow", and enter your Apple ID (or Touch ID) when prompted.Android - Tap the search bar, type in textnow, tap TextNow - free text + calls, tap INSTALL, and tap ACCEPTwhen prompted.

Open TextNow. Tap OPEN in your phone's app store, or tap the TextNow app icon on your phone's Home Screen or in the App Drawer.

Tap Create Account. It's at the bottom of the screen. Doing so will bring up the account creation page.

Enter your account details. Fill out the following fields:Username - Type in a username that you want to use. You will have to choose a different one if your preferred one is already taken.Password - Enter a password that you want to use to log in.Email - Enter an email address to which you currently have access.

Tap Create. It's in the top-right corner of the screen. Your account with TextNow will be created.

Allow permissions if prompted. If your iPhone or Android asks for permission to access your phone's resources (e.g., notifications), tap Allow or OK when prompted.

Enter your preferred area code. Tap the "Area Code" text field, then type in an area code that's different than the one that your regular phone number uses.

Tap Next. It's in the top-right corner of the screen.

Tap the "Compose"

button. You'll find this option in the top-right corner of the screen. On Android, you'll instead tap the pencil-shaped icon

in the lower-right side of the screen.

Enter a phone number. In the text box at the top of the screen, type in the phone number to which you want to send an anonymous text.

Enter a message. Tap the text box near the bottom of the screen, then type in the text message that you want to send.

Tap Send. It's to the right of the text box. Your text will be sent; when your recipient receives the text, it will be from a different number than your actual phone number. On Android, tap the blue paper plane-shaped icon instead of Send. After sending the text, you may be prompted to add contacts or enable notifications if you haven't already done so.

Method Two of Three:
Using the Smiley Texting App

Understand this app's limitations.Smiley Private Texting is free to download and use a few times, but you will have to purchase credits to continue sending messages. Smiley Private Texting is ideal if you only have to send a few texts without showing your real number.A positive side to the Smiley Private Texting app is that you don't have to create an account to use it.

Download the Smiley Texting app. Open the App Store

(iPhone) or the Google Play Store

(Android), then do the following:iPhone - Tap Search, tap the search bar, type in smiley texting, tapSearch, tap GET to the right of "Smiley Private Texting", and enter your Apple ID (or Touch ID) when prompted.Android - Tap the search bar, type in smiley anonymous texting, tap Smiley Anonymous Texting, tap INSTALL, and tap ACCEPT when prompted.

Open the Smiley Texting app. TapOPEN in your phone's app store, or tap the Smiley Texting app icon on your phone's Home Screen or in the App Drawer.

Allow permissions if prompted. If your iPhone or Android asks for permission to access your phone's resources (e.g., the texting app), tap Allow or OK when prompted.

Tap the "Compose"

button. It's in the top-right corner of the screen. On Android, tap the pencil-shaped icon

instead.

Enter a phone number. Using the on-screen keypad, type in the phone number to which you want to send an anonymous text message.Your fake phone number will be selected for you.

Tap Enter. It's in the top-right corner of the screen.

Enter your text message. Type your message into the text box at the bottom of the screen.Consider making the message as long as possible since you only have a few free text credits.

Tap the "Send" icon. It resembles a blue paper plane in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Your text will be sent; when your recipient receives the text, it will be from a different number than your actual phone number.

Method Three of Three:
Using an Email Account

Try to find out which carrier your recipient uses. In order to send a text message to a phone via an email address, you'll need to know which carrier—e.g., Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, or AT&T—the phone uses. You sometimes can type the phone number into a computational search engine (e.g., WolframAlpha) to bring up information about the carrier. If you don't know which of these four carriers the phone uses, you'll need to send a message to all four of them.

Open an ambiguous email inbox. If you have an email address that doesn't use your real name (or anything close to it), isn't in any of your friends' contacts lists, and isn't linked to any social media accounts (e.g., Facebook), you can send an anonymous text from it.If you don't have such an email, you'll first need to create a new email address for the purposes of texting without showing a number.

Select the "Compose" button. You'll usually find it either on the side of the page or at the top of the page.

Select the "To" text field. This is where you'll enter the phone number.

Type in the phone number. Enter the phone number of the person to whom you want to send an anonymous text. Make sure that you enter numbers only (no parentheses or dashes).

Add the service provider's email-to-text handle. This will vary depending on your selected carrier: [1] T-Mobile - @tmomail.netAT&T - @txt.att.netSprint - @messaging.sprintpcs.comVerizon - @vtext.com

Enter your message. Type the text message's text into the body section of the new email form. You can leave the "Subject" text field blank.

Select the "Send" button. This will send your email's body text as a text message. When your recipient receives the message, they will see the email address. Some phones will block automatically any text received from an email address.

Quick Summary

1. Install TextNow from the App Store orPlay Store.
2. Create an account.
3. Allow requested permissions.
4. Select a new area code and tap Next.
5. Tap the Compose icon.
6. Enter the recipient’s phone number.
7. Type a message.
8. Tap Send.

Tips

Consider using anonymous texting apps when you are required to send text messages to individuals for whom you want to keep your phone number private. For example, if you are a school teacher who needs to update students on an assignment, use an anonymous texting app to keep your personal phone number private from your students.

Warnings

Do not send text messages from your personal email account if you want your identity kept private. The recipient will have access to your full name and identity when you send texts from your personal email account.

12 Ways To Solve Network Problems in Mobile Phones

Sometimes you experience network connectivity problems such as “mobile network not available” and “mobile network error” when using your mobile phones but some people are yet to know what they can do to solve this network issues that’s why this article is coming up this time around.

The funny but interesting thing about this network issues is sometimes it happens even when the signal strength from the service provider is excellent. This you can observe by checking on other handsets using the same network you are using. So what is really the cause of this problems? Well, like every other phone issues, there is always a solution but when it comes to this one, the solution is usually very simple in most cases. So I will be showing you the best 12 ways to solve network problems on your phone without on your own without visiting a service center. In other words, you can call it a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) guide.

HOW TO SOLVE SMARTPHONE NETWORK PROBLEMS

1. Enable And Disable Airplane Mode

This is actually the first step you should take once your network hangs, freezes, slows down, dissappears or refuses to come up. In fact, there is no day i don’t do this on my phone especially whenever I notice the slow in speed or weak signal so I suggest you also make it a culture of always turning ON and OFF the flight mode on your mobile phone. It helps renew network search and boost connections.
Doing it is simple because most smartphones have the airplane mode in the notification area, just slide down, tap the ✈️ symbol and after few seconds, tap it again to turn it off, then turn on the phone’s mobile network.

2. Change Network Mode

3G and 4G services are still not available in some cities, communities and villages and where it is available, it might not be strong enough so if your phone network mode is set to any of them, you might loose signal. In this situation, you should set the network mode to only 2G or Edge.
Here is how to do it below

✔️ Go to Settings and open Wireless and Network settings.
✔️ Then tap on Mobile Networks.
✔️ Tap Network Mode.
✔️ Select GSM only (2G Only) or WCDMA/GSM (3G/2G Auto) by removing WCDMA only (3G Only) mode.

Meanwhile, you can also select “auto mode” WCDMA/GSM, the phone will automatically attract the best available signals.

3. Activate the Data Roaming Option

This particular option is useful whenever you are traveling because of network fluctuation from different masts. You need to Turn ON data roaming if you’re unable to connect with Internet due to weak mobile signals or network not available error, turn on the data roaming option.
Here is how to do it:

✔️ Go to Settings and open Wireless and Network settings.
✔️ Tap on Mobile Networks.
✔️ Now, tap the Data Roaming option.

4. Fix Improper Radio Signals Broadcasting

Sometimes you face this error because your Android phone broadcasts improper radio signals. To fix the issue just follow the below mentioned instructions.
✔️ Dial *#*#4636#*#* from your Android phone.
✔ There will appear a “Testing Menu”. Select “Phone Information” from the category.
✔ Now an option “Run Ping Test” will appear on the screen. Tap this option.
✔ Scroll down the page where you will see a drop down menu. Tap this menu to show its options. Now click “GSM Auto (PRL).
✔ Below will be the option “Turn Radio Off”. Select it and reboot your phone to work it effectively. Now you will get rid of the problem for sure.
However, there is a rare case where the radio signal ? issue is severe. In that case, this method won’t fix it because the signal is totally lost because of corrupted memory file in the ROM. This happened to one of my phones (Infinix Hot Note) back then. The only way i fixed it was flashing the stock ROM.

5. Reinsert Phone SIM Card

Reinserting the SIM card can do wonders beyond your imagination. Have you ever asked yourself why Blackberry customer service representatives normally ask you to reinsert the battery and SIM card after subscribing for a BIS? That’s the simple trick to refresh the network and connect you to the best nearest one around you. Same is applicable to Android, iOS and other mobile phones.
So, do the following:

✔️ Switch off your smartphone.
✔️ Remove the battery (if it’s removable but if not, leave it)
✔️ Remove SIM card.
✔️ Wait for 2 minutes.
✔️ Reinsert the SIM card and battery.
✔️ Wait for 5 Minutes.
✔️ Switch on the smartphone.

6. Select Preferred Networks Automatically

Letting the phone select preferred network automatically can also solve network problems in most cases. So, you set “Manually Select Preferred Network”, then change it to “Automatically Select Preferred Network” in your mobile phone settings.
See how to do it:

✔ ️Go to Wireless and Network Settings.
✔️ Tap on Mobile Networks.
✔️ Select Network Operators.
✔️ Select it to Automatically. That’s it.

7. Handle Lightly or Remove the Cover

Are you aware that holding your mobile phone with tight hands adds another layer that restricts networks from reaching to the phone? Yes that’s a fact and it could be one of the reasons you are having poor network signals. Avoid always covering the upper side of your phone with your hands ?.
Also, removing the smartphone cover can also help you boost the signal strength. If you’re facing the poor signals in your phone, you should firstly remove the phone cover. The signal strength should improve.

8. Open Your Windows & Find Nearest Towers

Although this is not necessary where there is excellent network but places with very poor signal should always try opening windows and doors or better still, come out in the open place whenever they want to make calls or brows (this reminds me of the funny scenarios some years back when we have to climb on top of uncompleted buildings and sometimes, trees in search ? of network. Funny!
As we all know that the closer you’re to the the mobile network tower, the stronger your signal will be. But, mobile phones don’t always connect to the nearest tower.
If you can find out your nearest mobile tower and the one your phone is connected to, you can point your phone in the direction of the tower you’re connected to.
You can use the mobile apps like OpenSignal for plotting a map of of your nearby towers. The apps like OpenSignal will be proven helpful to find out the nearest tower and the one your phone is connected to.

9. Make Phone Calls Using Wi-Fi Signals

If even after trying all the above methods it’s still very hard to get signals in your phone phone, you should try making phone calls using WiFi.
If you’ve WiFi router connected to the broadband connection at your home, you can turn on this feature from your WiFi router to make phone calls and send messages over WiFi networks without needing to worry of mobile signals.

10. Install a Mobile Phone Signal Booster

Mobile phone signal boosters finds out the outdoor signals, amplify them, and broadcast to a space that is receiving weak or no signal.
So, if your home or office is out of coverage area, you should install a signal booster. These third party gadgets are also known as repeaters. There are lots of them available in google playstore.

11. Try Factory Reset Your Mobile Phone

So if after trying the above methods and non worked for you, then try factory resetting your phone? because it’s second to the last bus stop for handset repairs.
For Android smartphones, follow the steps below:

✔️ First, take backup of your data.
✔️ Go to Settings & tap Backup and Reset option.
✔️ Now tap on Factory Data Reset and then finally tap Reset Device.

Note that this procedure might be slightly different in some Android phones with different OS versions.

12. Install a Stock or Custom ROM

Finally, this is the last option if every other ones failed but note that it’s very very rare to take you to this extent except the radio signal of the phone is corrupted and lost (just like my Infinix Hot Note). Also note that your phone must be rooted in order to flash a ROM
I believe you learnt something new from this article, anyway, if you still need more guidance, drop your comments and I will attend to you. Please also hit the Share buttons below to share on Facebook, Twitter etc.

How To Hide Whatsapp Chat And Messages - Realitytech

We all know that WhatsApp is a must use social messenger, that is, if you currently have a device that supports it. WhatsApp has over 1.3 billion active users in the world who use it everyday. WhatsApp users send around 55 – 56 billion chat messages on the platform, including a billion videos and 4.5 million pictures.

Most people who use WhatsApp like their privacy, this is known only to them. But who doesn’t like his/her privacy, when your friends can just pop up from nowhere, pick up your unlocked phone, go straight to your WhatsApp and read your messages. Isn’t that kind of absurd? For some, it is sporadic.

However, most WhatsApp users don’t have the idea that they can hide their chats as well as their chat messages on WhatsApp. It doesn’t harm your device or make you lose your chat messages. In fact, it helps you hide them from those who don’t mind their business. You don’t need internet connection for this, only an active WhatsApp.

Launch your WhatsApp Messenger.Select any number/name that appears under your WhatsApp CHATS tab.Tap and hold on the number/name.Click the three dots at the top corner. From the list of available options, tap Hide. The app will ask you to set a secret question and answer that only few might know. You will be asked to create a pattern, draw one. Make sure you draw one that you can remember. You will get a “Done” notification.

That’s how you can hide a chat on WhatsApp, you will no longer see it on your WhatsApp default screen. If it happens to be a contact, you won’t see the number on your WhatsApp contact list. Now, the question is, how can I access the hidden chats?

On your WhatsApp default screen, look for where it is written, WhatsApp. It is mostly at the top corner. Tap it.I hope you remember the pattern you set for the hidden WhatsApp chat? If yes, draw it. If no, tap Forgot pattern? Enter your security answer, if it happens to be correct, you will be asked to create a new pattern. If it happens to be wrong, then you have to clear the app data. After entering the correct pattern, then you are clear to send and chat privately.

The best part about this is that you get to receive message notifications from the hidden WhatsApp chat, but only you can read it.

How to Tweak IMEI Number On Android Phones and Get Free Data in 2018.

With this trick you can kiss buying data plans goodbye, truth be told I haven’t bought a single data plan for months now and I have never for once lacked Data(megabytes).

How? You may ask, By tweaking my IMEI !!

By tweaking, I mean changing my IMEI number. By changing your IMEI number you are able to enjoy Unlimited data opportunities.

Let me explain this process with an example.

In Nigeria, when you purchase an Infinix Hot Note you are entitled to 2015MB from Mtn, If you don’t want to buy the device but you also want to enjoy the 2015mb, all you have to do is change the IMEI Number of your phone to that of an Infinix Hot Note and then you Send the assigned command and you will get the 2015MB.

Let me explain how this is possible;

IMEI means International Mobile-Station Equipment Identity. Every mobile phone and modem have a unique 15-digit IMEI Number, It’s just like fingerprints of a phone. No two phones have the same IMEI Number, but phones of the same brand usually having the same starting sequence.

E.g – All Infinix hot note IMEI start with 358429063 that is what I call the identification number. So when you change your IMEI number to something like “3584290630360721” and send the command. When Mtn or any other telecom company which we plan to trick sees the identification number which is “358429063” they assume you use a hot not and you are given your data.

Now I believe you understand how Imei works, So let’s head on to the process of
changing your IMEI number.

To do this we need to install two apps.

First, we start with the imei analyser. The imei is a very delicate number so you can’t just randomly generate numbers and tweak ’em you have to first analyse it.

This is how we do that;

Let me use the infinix hot note example again.

First, we get the identifying number of the phone we want to change to.
“358429063” the first nine digits of an IMEI number are the legit numbers the rest can be tweaked but do not change the first nine digits.

After getting the first nine, you randomly add any 5 numbers. So we have 14 digits now. “35842906312345” remaining one number. This last number is called the ” check digit ” so it cannot be randomly added. If you do, you’ll end up having a bogus IMEI number that doesn’t work.

This is where the IMEI Analyser comes to play. Now open your IMEI Analyser and input the 14 numbers we have gotten into the box provided. And click analyse. It will analyze it and give you the complete
IMEI number including the check digit.

After you’ve gotten the full imei, write it down, close imei Analyser and open MTK engineering mode . After opening MTK engineering Mode.

Click on MTK SettingThen, swipe your screen to the left to view more options.Select CDS InformationThen select radio informationSelect phone 1 if you want to change the imei for SIM1
or phone 2 for sim 2Press E on your keypad it will drop down some options, for sim 1 select AT+EGMR =1,7,””. For sim 2 AT+EGMR=1,10,””After that put the new imei between the “” like this AT+EGMR=1,7,”358429063123457″Then put a space in between AT and + so it appears like this AT +EGMR=1,7,”358429063123457″, then press sendAT command.A message should pop up saying “At command is msent”.After that toggle your phones’s airplane mode on then off.Your IMEI should have changed

Dial *#06# to check.
